UFV’s 40th Anniversary Party at Abbotsford

Free community event from 3 – 8 pm.

Celebrate on the campus green. Retro costume contest, live music, marketplace, kids zone and more!

Band lineup includes Taxmen (a Beatles retro band) at 5 pm, the Boom Booms at 6 pm and Lightning Dust headlines at 7 pm. See more on Bands on our UFV blog. Festival seating, feel free to bring a blanket or a chair!

Come hungry for the many food options: The Bannock Wagon; Hot Grandma’s Kitchen; Hotties Mobile Pasta; Wilkyz Grill; and Big Red’s Poutine. Aftermath will be open for food and drinks through out event.

Lots of activities for kids of all ages from Faculty of Science activities, to a bouncy castle, face painting, climbing wall and Gizmo the Clown.

Your Student Union Society will be there and running the hamster ball race. UFV booths from Cascades Athletics, Financial Aid, Adult Education, Faculty of Applied and Technical Studies, School of Business, Alumni Association, Advancement with it’s Lifesaver campaign and dunk tanks and more.

Free parking at UFV lots for the event.
