About the Speakers
Keenan Beavis (BBA ’17)
Keenan, a proud member of the Métis nation, was recognized in 2023 by the Greater Langley Chamber of Commerce as a Top 30 under 30 business leader by BC Business magazine, received the BC Achievement Young Indigenous Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2020, and in 2024 he was recognized as the recipient of the UFV Alumni Association’s Young Distinguished Alumni award.
Tristan Taylor (Dip ’23)
As Executive Director of Taylor Co. & Associates, as well as the Results Manager and Partnerships Specialist for Longhouse Media, Tristan uses A.I. daily to get all his work and planning done. After ten years working in municipal government, he has developed the ability to find positive solutions for complex problems while seeking opportunities to grow relationships within his community. As an expert project planner that is responsible for delivering results to clients, he has leaned into A.I. prompts and shares his expertise with all who will listen.
