Agroecology Share Fair

Share fairs are participatory events that promote learning from participants’ experiences to improve their work. The Agroecology Share Fair is a chance for students in AGRI 371 – Agroecology to share their project work with workshop participants. The Share Fair will begin with hands-on demonstrations where participants can learn about the different projects. Participants will either get to sample or take home an artefact from each project (a radish, a native shrub cutting, a recipe for reducing food waste, a chocolate CHIRP cookie). Students will then present their research projects in a series of oral presentations. With feedback from workshop participants via questions, stories of experience, and conversation, students will have the opportunity to improve their work.

Participants will rotate through 4 demonstrations – 15 minutes/demo; 2:50 to 3:30 – each group will share their project data in 10-minute presentations (4-minute presentation and 6- minutes for conversations/questions
