Drug addiction impacts individuals, families, and the community. Join faculty host Brian Justin and guest panelists at an evening to bring together alumni, faculty, and students to share their knowledge and learn from one another about the physiology of addiction, types of addictive behaviors, and the management of addiction through pharmaceutical and other methods.
About Brian Justin:
Brian Justin is an instructor in the Department of Kinesiology at the University of the Fraser Valley. Brian received both a Bachelors and Masters degree in Human Kinetics from UBC. Brian has worked as a Kinesiologist for 7 years and as a fitness trainer for over 12 years. His areas of specialty are in low back pain exercise prescription, combatant sport conditioning, orthopedic post-rehabilitation, and functional training of the elderly. As part of his ongoing education Brian has completed courses through the CHEK Institute, Theraband Academy, Fitness Group, and Twist conditioning. Brian has also presented at many conferences on topics such as stability ball training, core conditioning, health issues and exercise, and functional training concepts.
