This book launch is the first phase of a larger collaboration between UFV’s Prof. Keith Carlson, Linyi University’s Western language Department, and Shandong University Press. The goals of the project are to make Canadian scholarship pertaining to Indigenous issues and decolonization available to scholars and university students in China, to foster collaboration between academics in Canada and China, and to build understanding between the people of these two countries. These two books (translated by Dr. Xing Chihong and Dr. Jianian Bo) are the first in this series with Shandong University Press. Other books are currently being translated by other faculty at Linyi University.
