Career Month: Understanding AI with Dr. Amir Shabani

UFV’s Alumni Engagement and UFV’s Centre for Experiential and Career Education are excited to announce our keynote, Dr. Amir Shabani, an AI researcher working with the Community Health and Social Innovation (CHaSI) hub at UFV, to kickoff the beginning of November 2023 Career Month at UFV.

With an increased awareness of artificial intelligence (AI) becoming more integrated into our everyday lives, Dr. Shabani will be sharing his expertise from a brief introduction to the field of AI, what the future of AI may hold, the impact of AI on future job markets, and to his current research projects. This session will be about a 1.5 hours in total (1 hour presentation and 30 minutes Q&A).
