CICS - Symposium and Academic Response to the 1984 anti-SIkh pogroms

The CICS presents a symposium commemorating the anti-Sikh pogroms of 1984 in India.

The Centre for Indo-Canadian Studies will be hosting a symposium/academic response for the 30th anniversary since the 1984 anti-Sikh pogroms in Delhi where thousands of Sikhs were targeted and brutally attacked following the assassination of the then Prime Minister of India, Mrs. Indira Gandhi. The symposium will be held from 9AM-3PM. All UFV faculty, staff, students and all community members are encouraged to attend this conference to engage in meaningful dialogues.
