CityStudio Abbotsford welcomes the UFV community to join us for the spectacular HUBBUB #12 showcase, a celebration of our Work-Integrated Learning projects!

“CityStudio is a partnership program between the City of Abbotsford and the University of the Fraser Valley (UFV) and challenges university students to tackle civic issues and provide prototype solutions.”

This semester, the HUBBUB is organized in collaboration with Tourism Abbotsford and the Abbotsford Downtown Business Association. The students projects focus on Accessible Tourism and community planning, and resiliency.

Students from various disciplines, community stakeholders, and subject matter experts have joined forces to assess tourist destinations through the lens of accessibility. Their goal? Proposing sustainable strategies for Abbotsford to become an inclusive travel, recreation, and work destination.

This CityStudio semester has been generously supported by the funding received through iHUB – CEWIL Canada, leading to student success in a variety of Work-Integrated and Experiential Learning activities.
