Inspired by Naomi Klein’s international bestseller, this film presents seven powerful portraits of communities on the front lines of the climate crisis, from Montana’s Powder River Basin to the Alberta Tar Sands, and beyond.
Through these stories, the documentary explores how confronting the climate crisis offers an opportunity to transform our economic system into something radically better. Described as “purposely unsettling… ultimately encouraging” by Variety Magazine, this film aims to empower viewers to reflect on the ties between us and the kind of lives we truly want.
This screening was initiated by PARC Interfaith Commitment Leader, Dr. Allyson Jule, as part of ongoing efforts to foster dialogue on sustainability, ethics, and social responsibility.
