UFV is one of six charities participating in Willowbrook Shopping Centre’s Smart Savings promotion.
The event takes place Nov 28 (Black Friday) to Dec 14.
The campaign allows customers to take advantage of holiday discounts and specials up to 75% at Willowbrook’s shops and services and help 6 local charities with a cash donation from Willowbrook at the same time. $20,000 in donations is available. The cash donations will be allocated to the 6 partner charities based on the total value of their same day receipts registered at the Smart Savings Desk (located at the North Court by Golden Tree Jewellers) from November 28 to December 14, with the 1st place prize being awarded to the charity with the highest value of receipts registered and so on as noted below:
- 1st Place – $10,000
- 2nd Place – $5,000
- 3rd Place – $2,500
- 4th Place- $1,500
- 5th Place – $500
- 6th Place – $500
All prizing proceeds will support student scholarships within UFV’s fashion department.
Please note that no tax receipts will be issued. Have fun shopping and don’t forget to designate UFV as your charity of choice!
