Local author and blogger Lea Love will read from her memoir about her years in hiding. For eight years, Lea Love was hunted by the FBI, ChildFind, and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. In 1996, she fled an abusive relationship, in Hawaii, with a violent drug dealer old enough to be her father. At the age of 25, she had to choose between obeying the law or following her own moral code as a mother.
Refreshments and a display of student work will be held in the Global Lounge following the panel discussion.
