Second MAD MONDAY Challenge:

BRANDING OF College of Arts Experiential Learning Project

The College of Arts is thrilled to announce a pilot project called the Student Experience Design Lab (SXD Lab). Supported by UFV’s Fund for Innovative Teaching, the SXD Lab is developing real-life student-led learning opportunities with a focus on innovation, career development, creativity and collaboration.

The first learning opportunity to come out of the SXD Lab is a series of MAD MONDAY Challenges.

What is a MAD MONDAY Challenge?
In interdisciplinary teams of four, students will develop and present a solution to a specific challenge in less than seven hours. The winning team will be awarded a grand prize valued at $500. In addition, each team member will receive a $100 honorarium.

For these challenges, we are seeking student leaders who are action-oriented and well organized.

MAD MONDAY Challenge – BRANDING OF College of Arts Experiential Learning Project
For this challenge, you will be asked to conceptualize a marketing campaign and brand design for the College of Arts’ experiential learning project. Teams will be given guiding principles for the campaign and a set of brand related deliverables. Each team should include at least two students from CMNS, GDD, or MEDA and two students from any College of Arts discipline.
