Shape the next wave of educational reforms!
UFV’s two-year, part-time Master’s degree in Education is designed to equip certified K-12 educators who want to assume a leadership role in their schools or districts. The only one of its kind in Canada, the degree is crafted to respond to current trends, reforms, and innovations in K-12 education.
This program qualifies for Teacher Qualification Service (TQS) upgrade and is also designed to prepare you for doctoral level studies.
As part of the six-course program, you will:
- explore the theory and practice of leadership and mentorship
- gain a deep understanding of distributed leadership
- engage in reflective mentoring practices
- develop a formal research proposal in your own area of interest
- learn with a small group of like-minded professionals
- build on personal and professional experiences
- draw on the support of committed faculty who have firsthand experience teaching in public schools
