The Centre for Indo-Canadian Studies, with support from the Visual Arts department and UFV International presents an upcoming exhibition entitled (Mis)Interpretation: Sikh Feminisms in representations, texts, and lived realities.
The exhibition includes the exploration of the five kakkars (Sikh outward symbols) through the female lens, the interpretations of Gurbani (Sikh scriptures), discussing the feminine, women’s engagement with the SGGSJ (Sikh scriptures), and the daily lived realities of Sikh women. Exhibition available for viewing until October 20th.
