presents
Professor George Lopez at a lunch hour round table talk:
Peace, Really? Peace Studies confronts Terrorism
There would seem a canyon worth of distance between bloodthirsty terrorists and those who believe warring disputes should be solved peacefully. Peace studies response to terrorism has been uneven over the past 50 years but over the past decade those concerned with mediation and other reconciliation approaches have developed more means to halt terrorism than has military force. This bring-your-own lunch session will begin with Professor George Lopez’s presentation, which will be followed by a round-table discussion.
Everyone is welcome!
Bring your own lunch to this thought provoking presentation and discussion.
