The goal of this forum is to create a space to discuss these contemporary social justice issues from multiple perspectives, in a variety of forms, and using a range of disciplinary lenses.
Dr. Michelle La Flamme and Dr. Anna Griffith will co-facilitate this event featuring student research projects from their IDS 300 course, Race, Space and Place, and student research projects from the Peace and Conflict Studies at UFV. This forum will consist of two main panels and organized around two central ideas and is open to all.
This event is sponsored by the Peace and Reconciliation Centre at UFV. We also wish to acknowledge the support from the Dean of Arts, Jacqueline Nolte in the College of Arts for the development of the IDS300 course and the School of Creative Arts for their administrative assistance. We are grateful to the Stó:lō peoples whose unceded territory houses UFV campuses.
