Call for Proposals
A message from Eric Davis, Provost and Vice-President Academic, Human Resources, and the Teaching & Learning Centre:
We invite all Faculty and Staff to submit proposals for workshops for UFV’s third annual Professional Development Day 2018 (PD Day) happening on April 26.
Workshop proposals should be related to one this year’s PD Day themes:
- Technology
- Diversity/Inclusion
- Wellness
- Pedagogy
- Research
Workshops may be geared towards all UFV employees or developed with a specific group in mind.
Examples of possible workshops:
- Design for Digital Environments
- Leadership in the Workplace
- Media Training & Public Relations
- Learner and Learning-Centred Course Design
The deadline for proposals is January 31, 2018.
Proposals will be reviewed based on topic, potential audience, link to themes, and proposed outcomes. Confirmation will be provided to workshop facilitators by the end of February.
