RAN Workshop: Allyship

RAN will be holding a series of training for UFV employees to continue

• to promote anti-racism, allyship, and awareness of racism, colonialism, and oppression
• to provide a safe space to learn about how institutional racism is experienced from within and how you can commit as an ally.

Our first session on November 17 follows our Forum on “So you want to be an ally,” that was held October 6, 2020. Through various interactive activities, you will engage on a personal and professional level of where you situate yourself as an ally, and how you can continue your journey.

We will take time to review words such as ally and anti-racist.
