Please join us for UFV’s Scholarly Sharing Initiative, Fall 2019
Be uplifted by analysis! Be moved by insight! Ask questions and share ideas! The Scholarly Sharing Initiative, founded in 2011, is an informal monthly gathering where faculty, students, and interested others can gather over lunch and coffee to share, discuss, present, and receive feedback on current scholarly work.
The second session is coming up on Thursday, October 31st, with Philosophy Professor Anastasia Anderson speaking on “Philosophy for Children and the Aims of Education” and English professor Prabhjot Parmar speaking on Grieving Mothers, Lonely Beloveds, “loose women”: Gendering India and the Great War”.
We hope to see you there!
