Spring Cleaning: E-Recycle Event
Are you wondering how to dispose of old electronics which you no longer use, which are cluttering your space? We have a solution.
The CIS Department and Computing Student Association are working with era.ca to provide an opportunity for students, faculty and staff to drop off personal electronics for safe recycling. Era.ca will refurbish items and donate them to local charities such as Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Community Services Organizations, Mission Arts Council, and Centres for Child Development.
Items accepted include: gaming consoles, stereo equipment, desktop and laptop computers, cell phones, tablets, printers, keyboards, mice, phone systems, etc. For your convenience, there will be a hard-drive shredder on site to destroy your sensitive data. We can also remove the hard-drives from your machines.
