Scholarly Sharing Initiative
Embodying race, space, and place // Canadian foreign policy in Africa
Please join us for the March 25th (virtual) session of UFV’s Scholarly Sharing Initiative (SSI), featuring
Michelle LaFlamme (English) and Anna Griffith (Theatre), “Embodying Race, Space, and Place”
Edward Akuffo (Political Science): “Beyond Peacekeeping Operations: A Study of Canada’s Support for Security Governance in West Africa”
The event will be made up of presentations from our two speakers on their current scholarly work, followed by an opportunity for questions from attendees. The goals of SSI are to facilitate interdisciplinary sharing, discussion and support for the great research and scholarly work going on at UFV. In 2020-2021, SSI will be a virtual gathering where members of the UFV community discuss their work. For more information or to offer to share your work at future sessions, please contact any of the
organizers.
