Teacher Education Seminar

The Teacher Education Department is offering five seminars this semester to help students interested in a teaching career explore their options.

Prospective teacher applicants can get information on the expectation of teachers in today’s classrooms. They can further explore reasons to become a teacher and reflect on their developing teaching dispositions. Information on various pathways to becoming a teacher and certification requirements in BC will also be covered.

The first Teacher Education Seminar is intended for elementary and middle school teacher applicants and will take place on Jan 29 from 3 – 4:30 pm in room D137.

Interested students are invited to attend.
