Fresh off the March for Sustainability waste audit, come to the library for lunch and a little Trash Talk with Dr. Mariano Mapilli, Associate Professor, School of Land Use and Environmental Change, UFV instructor Sydney Raison, who also works for the City of Chilliwack waste management department, and Carolynn Pegura, Environmental Services Coordinator for the Fraser Valley Regional District.

Learn about why cities audit waste and how that helps to make decisions about waste management. What does it mean when recycled materials are contaminated and what can we do about it? You’ll leave this session full of a delicious lunch and great information!
