Time: 10:00 am - 10:30 am
At 10:20 on Thursday, October 20, in conjunction with Shakeout BC, UFV will test UFV Alert: the emergency notification system designed to keep you and the UFV community connected with key information during an emergency or severe weather event. Feel free to share the following information with your area.
During the test, you will receive a message on your phone or device provided you have registered with UFV Alert.
People at the Abbotsford campus and in Building A at the Chilliwack campus will also hear an audio broadcast test in common rooms and areas. No evacuation is necessary. This a test of the UFV emergency public address system.
Please ensure your UFV Alert contact information (cell number and email address) is up-to-date by checking here or you can register for the first time here.
