Join us on March 20 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the UFV Library Makerspace for an engaging storytelling event that celebrates diversity, inclusion, and sustainability.
As part of the March for Sustainability initiative by the UFV Office of Sustainability, this year’s Human Library brings together inspiring speakers from the LGBTQ+ community, Indigenous community, and UFV students, staff, and faculty to share their lived experiences.
Centered on the themes of:
SDG 4: Quality Education
SDG 5: Gender Equality
SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions
Each speaker, or “human book,” will take the stage to tell their unique story, reflecting on personal journeys and challenges tied to these global goals. After each storytelling session, the audience will have the chance to ask questions, sparking meaningful dialogue and creating a deeper understanding of the issues that shape our world.
This event is free and open to everyone students, faculty, staff, and the public. It’s a chance to learn from diverse perspectives, break down barriers, and inspire action toward a sustainable and equitable future.
