A Stó:lo Means Business Initiative
The leadership of Stó:lō communities, project partners, and community members invite the territory’s friends and potential business partners to participate in this business match and explore the exciting possible outcomes of targeted business development.
SBM is an initiative facilitated by Stó:lō Community Futures, a not-for-profit organization whose programs are directed by local business professionals and Stó:lō Community leaders concerned with the economy and development of their community.
The vision of Stó:lō Community Futures is for the Stó:lō Traditional Territory to become a leading centre of Aboriginal business and entrepreneurial growth within British Columbia.
The organization is mandated to provide support in the process of community economic development to all Aboriginal peoples living within the Stó:lō Traditional Territory. Most of all, Stó:lō Community Futures embrace and celebrate Stó:lō cultural values and believe in creating and supporting the entrepreneurial spirit in the Stó:lō Traditional Territory.
