There is no question that Canada’s identity has been greatly shaped by the Battle of Vimy Ridge. Since Canadian soldiers stormed the ridge in 1917 the batter has been subsequently constructed by Canadians as a defining moment in our collective memory and national identity.
Join our panel as we discuss the historical and social significance the Battle of Vimy Ridge still holds 100 years later.
