Working While Different: Bias, Diversity & Inclusion in Today’s Workplace
Is it true, as a popular Broadway musical suggests, that “we’re all a little bit racist?” Most of us recoil at the idea of discrimination. And yet, social media continues to report ongoing examples of active racism and sexism in workplaces, such as #metoo #BLM. Research shows that unconscious assumptions we all make, and implicit biases we all have, impair our judgment and hold us and our teams back. Reviewing current, evidence-based data, this dynamic and interactive webinar reveals insights about the challenges of working effectively with each other when we are different from each other. Participants will leave with practical strategies that really work for growing awareness of and control over our biases, and improving teamwork and communication in today’s increasingly diverse workplaces.
