Time: 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm
In this 90-minute workshop we will explore the phenomenon of psychological safety and create a safe place for participants to share their own experiences of feeling psychologically unsafe in the workplace. We will discuss the challenge of unconscious biases and the tell-tale signs of these to watch out for revealed through subtle micro-messages.
At an individual level, a person’s emotional intelligence is the primary enabling skill that contributes to the level of psychological safety on a team and in an organization. Individuals with high emotional intelligence create higher levels of psychological safety, whereas those with low emotional intelligence can destroy it.
