Workstation Updates – Internet Explorer & Banner Forms
IT Services will be performing a version upgrade to the Internet Explorer browser on your workstation. This update is necessary to support the Banner Forms server upgrade along with data security requirements. Both of these upgrades will be occurring over the weekend of August 13-14, 2016.
Please keep your workstation on when leaving your office on Friday, August 12. Laptop users should also hook up their network cable (if available) so the update can be applied over the network.
Your workstation will be updated as of 7AM Monday, April 15 with the following:
– New green coloured Banner icons on your workstation desktop pointing to Banner and Banner reports
– Internet Explorer version 10
No changes will be made to any other browsers you may have installed on your computer (eg. Firefox, Google Chrome).
