Estimated duration of maintenance: 1-2 hours, but Internet service could be intermittent through the day as services are tested.
Services Impacted: All internet access at all campuses will be affected. As the service is migrated over to a new high speed internet feed, there may be intermittent interruption of access to services from off-campus including but not limited to UFV staff and student email, web site, myufv, myclass (online courses), etc.
Users impacted: All UFV users
Service enhancements: This work is necessary to connect new high speed internet feeds at two core campuses (CEP and Abbotsford). This will result in improved performance and reliability of Internet service as we join the BCNet high speed research network.
