Estimated time of maintenance: March 25 – 28, 2016 ; 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Estimated duration of maintenance: Work will continue through the long weekend with outages of 2-3 hours at each campus. Most work is expected to be completed on March 25-26th, but could extend through the weekend.
Services impacted: Network services including data and telephone service at satellite campuses will be intermittent for extended periods during the upgrade window. Satellite campuses include: Mission, Clearbrook Centre, Aerospace Centre, Chilliwack North, Chilliwack Five Corners, and Hope Centre.
Users impacted: Only users working at the satellite campuses during the maintenance period will be affected.
Service enhancements: All inter-campus links are being migrated from the over-subscribed PLNet shared service to dedicated high-speed BCNet circuits. The result will be performance improvements for inter-campus data and telephone communications as well as internet service for the satellite campuses.
