Telephone and network services including Blackboard and the UFV website will be disrupted on the night of Saturday, Jan 30. This will also impact remote connectivity. All UFV buildings and campuses will experience a disruption of up to 10 minutes.
When will this occur?
Saturday, Jan 30, for 5-10 minutes between 8:30-10:30pm for all UFV campuses.
Offices and classrooms located in Building B, first floor will experience an extended outage of up to 30 minutes beginning at 8:00pm.
Who is impacted?
UFV employees and students located on all UFV campuses. This outage also affects employees attempting to connect remotely to their campus workstation and students attempting to connect to student labs.

- Wired Network Services *
- Wireless Services *
- UFV Website
- UFV Hosted Applications such as Blackboard, Banner, Zoom
- Remote Desktop Connection *
- Telephone Service*
- Security Devices (trilogy gateways/locks) *
- Facilities Systems/Panels *
* These services on CEP campus will not be affected
Why?
This maintenance is required to address recent power outages on campus and prepare for future disruptions.
