Services Impacted: No service interruption. UPS will be in maintenance bypass mode loads are maintained on utility power.
Users impacted: Affects Trades and Technology Centre only. No direct user impact. In the unlikely event of a BC Hydro outage during maintenance there would be a short system outage while the emergency generator started.
Service enhancements: The batteries in the computer room UPS are at end of like and due for replacement. Once batteries are replaced, the UPS will maintain emergency power to critical systems in the event of Hydro outages.
