The Changemaker Café is a space for us to connect, celebrate, encourage, share ideas and approaches, and learn from one another. It is also a place for critical dialogue and challenging questions. We will discuss different topics at each Café, so please see the list below for the monthly themes.
Café 3: Decolonizing Changemaking
Anchoring Question:
- What does a decolonized approach to Changemaking look like, and how do we navigate the complexities of ensuring inclusivity and solidarity?
Additional Questions:
- Who determines whether a process is truly decolonized, and what mechanisms or practices can ensure ongoing reflection and accountability?
- How can Indigenous perspectives on land, climate, and wellness inform and enrich our approaches to changemaking? What does Indigenized Changemaking look/feel like?
This event is for UFV faculty, staff, and students.
