Chat-I (Chat Internationalization)

Join Victoria Surtees to discuss topics related to internationalization with an interdisciplinary group of colleagues. From international student experience to study abroad, we will go where community interests take us and hear from guest experts and speakers throughout the year.

Chat-I will take place on Zoom the second Tuesday of every month from 1-2 pm.

Each session covers a different topic – come once or come regularly!

Past sessions have included:

  • Overlaps between internationalization and decolonization
  • Understanding IELTS
  • Facilitating culturally and linguistically inclusive discussions
  • Cultural blind spots in teaching and service

Dates:

  • Fall: Sept. 12th, Oct. 10th, Nov. 14th, Dec. 12th
  • Winter: Jan. 16th, Feb. 13th, Mar. 12th, Apr. 9th, May 14th, June 11th.
