We know that our international and multilingual students often need support with academic writing and that recently, many have been turning to Generative AI to fill the gap. But what if we could find a way to integrate AI in a way that supports the needs of multilingual writers while also developing the writing and research skills for all students?
Good news! Our colleagues at KPU are field testing and framework and activities that are doing just that! It’s called “Writing Thoughtfully with AI” and it provides practical advice for using AI to scaffold writing and research skills at every level of the assignment.
This time, Victoria Surtees is partnering up with Michelle Johnson, our online and digital pedagogy specialist, to explore, discuss, and experiment with these tools and to share their insights with you.
