Community of Practice: Assessments

Teaching and Learning is offering a Community of Practice: Assessments series through the winter 2024 semester facilitated by Claire Hay, Teaching and Learning Specialist (Curriculum and Assessment).

  • This monthly online community of practice brings together faculty interested in assessment for thoughtful conversations around assessment options and design. New this year, we will be joined by Lorna Andrews to consider holistic assessment.  Sessions will have 2 parts: 8.30-9.30am – general assessment discussion, 9.30-10.30am – holistic assessment conversations.  Join for one or both parts of each session.
  • Dates in Fall 2023: Sept 15, Oct 13, Nov 10, Dec 8
  • Dates in Winter 2024: Jan 12, Feb 9, Mar 8, Apr 5, May 3

The initial meeting for the Community of Practice will take place on Friday September 15th from 8.30-9:30am, & 9:30-10:30am via Zoom.
