Teaching and Learning has partnered with English Language Studies to offer faculty and staff a workshop and discussion series on engaging multilingual learners. Our first workshop focuses on Working with Multilingual Learners. This workshop and discussion group will emphasize practical strategies that support multilingual learners in the classroom. Come and share your ideas.

Intercultural Competencies: This workshop and discussion group will emphasize intercultural competencies in the multilingual classroom. Come and share your ideas. January 12 – 1:00-2:00pm
Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) Approach: This workshop and discussion group will introduce an approach to teaching that integrates content and language. This approach has been empirically proven effective in the multilingual classroom. February 6 11:00am to 12:00pm
