The updated ILOs went into effect on July 1st, 2024.
The Teaching and Learning Centre is hosting a session for department heads, directors, and curriculum chairs to introduce these ILOs and discuss practical strategies for creating program learning outcomes that align to this broad educational vision. The following session, facilitated by Claire Hay, Learning Specialist (Curriculum and Assessment) and Victoria Surtees, Learning Specialist (Internationalization) is designed to support this work.
We will talk about what the ILOs mean and how they connect to program learning outcomes (PLOs) and course learning outcomes. We will identify strategies for mapping ILOs to PLOs and consider questions that support robust conversations with department colleagues on what we want students to be able to do in our programs.
