 nUFV School of Continuing Education is running Basic Life Support (BLS) fo
 r Healthcare Providers (HCP) in person at the Clearbrook Center on Saturda
 y\, November 1\, from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm.\nThis course is designed to buil
 d participant confidence in performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
  skills in a team environment for professionals with a duty to respond suc
 h as:\n\nIn-facility care providers\, including nursing staff\, care aides
 \, and allied health professionals\nMedical and dental professionals\n\nPr
 e-hospital care providers\, which may include professional in a fire servi
 ce\, search and rescue\, sports-medicine\, lifeguards and ski-patrol.\n\nL
 earn the important steps to perform a rapid assessment\, perform Basic Lif
 e Support (BLS) skills\, and perform rapid defibrillation including use of
  an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). 1-year certification.\n\nThis 
 course meets the CPR requirement for the UFV LPN Access to Bachelor of Sci
