Join Dr. James Mandigo for a compelling edition of the President’s Leadership Lecture Series, featuring a keynote address from the Honourable Randeep Sarai, Secretary of State for International Development and Member of Parliament for Surrey Centre.
Together, they will explore what it means to lead, collaborate, and create impact in an increasingly complex global landscape, and why global engagement matters now more than ever.
Following the keynote, hear directly from students in UFV’s Global Development Studies program during a panel discussion as they share what global citizenship means to them, why it matters, and how they see their role in shaping a more connected and just world.

About Honourable Randeep Sarai:
The Honourable Randeep Sarai is the Member of Parliament for Surrey Centre and Canada’s Secretary of State for International Development. First elected in 2015, he has previously served as Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Veterans Affairs and Associate Minister of National Defence. A Vancouver native, Sarai holds degrees from the University of British Columbia and Queen’s University and has a longstanding commitment to community service and global development.
