DESCRIPTION:\nCityStudio Abbotsford HUBBUB #14\nThe CityStudio Abbotsford t
 eam invites everyone to attend the HUBBUB # 14 on Thursday\, November 21st
 \, between 8:30am-12pm in Abbotsford City Hall. This Fall\, the HUBBUB is 
 part of the Involve Abbotsford Symposium\, a free one-day event focusing o
 n learning about sustainability and how to integrate into your work and or
 ganization. The symposium attendees may cast their votes for the most enga
 ging and innovative project poster in the People’s Choice Award category
 . The top CityStudio Team Award will also be selected by the Mayor of Abbo
 tsford in close collaboration with the group of adjudicators from the City
  and UFV. The award announcements will take place between 11:45am-12pm.\n\
 nThis HUBBUB’s key community partner is Tourism Abbotsford supporting th
 e CityStudio-inspired Experience the Fraser project in Experiential and Wo
 rk-Integrated Learning. The project honours Abbotsford’s most precious r
 esource—the Fraser River\, supporting students to\, 1) use GIS\, urban d
 esign\, Indigenous storytelling\, and trauma-informed narrative\, to 2) ga
 ther community perspectives on the river\, 3) disseminate that information
 \, and 4) facilitate recognition of its value and commitment to sustainabi
 lity. This project is generously funded by the iHUB - CEWIL Canada grant. 
 It engages the students form English\, Biology\, Geography\, and Planning 
 courses\, and showcases their imagination\, original thinking\, and techni
 cal skills. Additional projects focus on food security\, the impact of cli
 mate change on community livability and other subjects that speak to the i
 ssue of community sustainability.\n\nNo registration is required to attend
