DESCRIPTION:Continuing Studies department is hosting a retirement party for
  director Cheryl Isaac on Wednesday\, June 25.\n\nCheryl has seen and do
 ne a lot in her 37 years with UFV. For most of her career\, she has been a
 ssociated with Continuing Studies (through several name and mandate change
 s). There were stints with other areas but as she retires as director of C
 ontinuing Studies\, this area is closest to her heart.\n\nThroughout her c
 areer she has been a strong advocate of community-responsive education. Sh
 e organized dozens of conferences\, lectures and workshops on issues of re
 levance to Fraser Valley communities.\n\nContinuing education was a natura
 l fit for Cheryl\, who loves to learn new things\, meet new people\, and i
 ntroduce new ideas and knowledge to her communities.\n\nCome out and join
