DESCRIPTION:VA 395 student have been partnered with community members livin
 g with dementia to form collaborations wherein student share what they've 
 learn about socially engaged art practice. Our community partners imparted
  knowledge from their lived experiences\, including experiences that conce
 rn living with dementia.\n\nThe class collectively explored the following 
 questions - Where can knowledge be rooted and how can it be creatively exc
 hanged across perceived barriers with humility and joy?\n\nThe resulting w
 ork is highly experimental\, playful\, engaging\, and often interactive.\n
 \nPlease stop by the S'eliyemetaswtexw Art Gallery between April 3-11 to e
 xperience the valuable intergenerational knowledge exchange.\n\nExhibition
  reception will be held on April 6 from 3-5pm.
