SUMMARY:Inspiring Inclusion: Local and Global
DESCRIPTION:Join students from Global Development Studies (GDS) to explore 
 more about Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 5 –Gender Equality. The ev
 ent is centred around this year’s International Women’s Day theme of 
 “Inspire Inclusion”.  \n\nStudents from GDS 100 (A World of Developme
 nt) and GDS 260 (Gender and Global Development) will present their work on
  gender equality issues and facilitate hands-on activities for participant
 s.  \n\nTopics may include: intersectionality\, gender and the environme
 nt\, gender and food security\, gender and education\, gender and health a
 nd violence\, gender and poverty and the economy\, masculinities\, and the
  SDGs.
