SUMMARY:Multicultural Family Fun Night
DESCRIPTION:\nJoin the SOWK 380 Community Development Students for a night 
 of multicultural family fun!\nAbbotsford is home to over 5\,000 new immigr
 ants. There are many challenges for these individuals such as learning lan
 guage\, community adaptation\, and developing healthy family dynamics. Thi
 s event will target the systemic issue of multicultural families living in
  isolation and promoting healthy family interaction. We will do this by fa
 cilitating a welcoming and engaging evening where families can enjoy each 
 other’s company away from the daily challenges of living in a new countr
 y.\n\nFamilies will enjoy complimentary food\, meet new people in their co
 mmunity\, and get connected to beneficial resources while playing fun fami
 ly-focused activities and games.\n\nEveryone is welcome!\n\nHosted by a gr
 oup of SOWK 380 Community Development students who desire to support famil
 ies.
