  University of the Fraser Valley’s School of Creative Arts (SoCA) is pro
 ud to present ART IN PRACTICE: SoCA Faculty &amp\; Staff Exhibit\, a new g
 roup exhibition showcasing the dynamic work of Visual Arts faculty and sta
 ff members. Spanning diverse media and approaches\, the show offers a glim
 pse into the creative practices that shape\, inspire\, and mentor the next
  generation of artists.\n\nART IN PRACTICE highlights the ongoing professi
 onal practices of the Visual Arts faculty and staff across a range of medi
 a\, including painting\, sculpture\, photography\, printmaking\, and video
 . As artists and technicians\, these individuals play a vital role in shap
 ing UFV’s creative community\, not only through teaching but through act
 ive engagement in contemporary art.\n\nThe exhibition opens on September 1
 0 at the S’eliyemetaxwtexw Art Gallery\, located on the UFV Abbotsford c
 ampus\, and runs through until September 29.\n\nAn opening reception will 
 be held on September 10 at 12:30 pm in the gallery. All are welcome to att
