PD Day 2018
PD Day is back for its third year on Thursday, April 26. Faculty, staff, and administrators are invited to a day of professional development to connect with colleagues, learn tools, tips, and trends in higher ed, and grow UFV towards the future together.
Start the day off with a presentation about the transformation that is underway in the K-12 system by keynote speaker Kevin Godden, Superintendent of Schools for the Abbotsford School District.
You can customize your day of learning by selecting from over 30 workshops including:
• The Pedagogy of Civil Discourse in the Trump Era
• An Introduction to Research Data Management
• Ketogenic Diet: Lose Weight and Prevent Diseases
• Including Multilingual Learners in Your Classroom
• Staying Safe in Cyberspace
