 Senior Correspondent and award-winning investigative journalist\, as he ex
 plores the stories behind his reporting—and the responsibility we all sh
 are to speak up\, listen\, and help create safer\, more inclusive communit
 ies.\n\nWesthead has been recognized by the Canadian Journalists for Freed
 om of Expression in 2023 with the Arnold Amber Award for Investigative Jou
 rnalism and is a two-time winner of Canadian Sports Writer of the Year. Hi
 s book\, We Breed Lions: Confronting Canada’s Troubled Hockey Culture wa
 s an instant best-seller and a finalist for the Trillium Award. His invest
 igative reporting has brought important conversations about safety\, accou
 ntability\, and sport culture into the national spotlight.\n\nPrior to joi
 ning TSN\, Westhead served as a foreign correspondent for the Toronto Star
 \, where he reported on the ground in countries including Afghanistan\, Ch
 ina\, and Saudi Arabia.\n\nAs part of Purple Lights Nights\, this special 
 President’s Leadership Lecture will explore the power of storytelling to
  amplify voices\, challenge harmful systems\, and contribute to meaningful
  change—and the role each of us can play in creating communities where p
